
Marlene Porfiri
Marlene is a senior podiatrist and director at My Foot Clinic. She graduated from Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences at La Trobe University in 1990. Marlene also completed a Post Graduate course in Exercise for rehabilitation. She has extensive experience in the public and private sectors as well and has worked with local soccer clubs.
Marlene has extensive knowledge of podiatric complaints and has continued her education and completed Acupuncture for lower limb, lower limb mobilisation and manipulation , dry needling, kinesiology taping as well as Extracorpeal Dolorclast Shockwave Therapy and Injection therapy courses.
Her private practice focus is on difficult lower limb problems and has a special interest in biomechanics, heel pain, custom foot orthotics and children’s foot and walking problems.

Steve O’Connor
Steve O’Connor is an experienced podiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience and a strong focus on regenerative and restorative approaches to lower limb health.
He has a particular interest in helping patients with chronic pain, tendon conditions, plantar heel pain, arthritis-related limitations, nerve pain, and overuse injuries by combining detailed assessment with evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at supporting tissue recovery, improving function, and restoring movement.
Steve integrates lower limb biomechanics, rehabilitation, custom orthotic therapy, footwear guidance, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and regenerative treatment approaches to help patients move beyond short-term symptom relief and towards long-term improvement.
Working collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare providers, Steve believes the best outcomes come from understanding why a problem developed and creating a treatment pathway that supports the body’s capacity to heal and adapt.
His goal is to help patients reduce pain, rebuild confidence in movement, improve physical capacity, and stay active for longer, whether that means returning to sport, maintaining independence, or simply getting back to doing the things they enjoy without limitation.

Jason Walker
Jason graduated in 2021, Charles Sturt University, with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine. He is also a member of the Australian Podiatry Association.
Jason comes with a variety of life experience being a Seafarer for 23+ years prior to commencing his Podiatry career, since graduating in 2021 he has worked in the Northern Territory; Northern Queensland and Tasmania and has now returned home to his native Melbourne.
Jason is a holistic practitioner who has a “Whole person” perspective when looking at a patient and their Podiatry needs. He has a specific interest in the High Risk Foot and wound management, Ingrown toenail management; musculoskeletal pathologies.
Jason has completed additional training in SWIFT microwave therapy for wart treatment, shock wave and Photobiomodulation laser therapy for pain management. Jason likes to keep updated with the latest evidence-based treatment modalities and is currently still continuing his academic pursuits to be a better all round practitioner.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, friends and cat Mojo and trying to find the best souvlaki in Melbourne.

Vicki Koronakos
Vicki is a senior podiatrist and Director of My Foot Clinic.
Vicki graduated from La Trobe University with honours in 2002. She has worked in the private sector since and has extensive knowledge and interest in podiatry complaints concerning children, orthotic therapy and nail pathologies.
Vicki has certification in the use of Extracorpeal Dolorclast Shockwave therapy, Kinesiology taping, Injection therapy and completed a Acupuncture and Acupressure for the lower limband Mobilisation & Manipulation Course.

David Covan
David Covan is an experienced podiatrist at My Foot Clinic with over 13 years of clinical experience providing high-quality foot and lower limb care.
He graduated from La Trobe University in 2013 and is dedicated to helping patients maintain healthy, pain-free feet through evidence-based treatment and personalised care.
David has a special interest in the assessment and management of diabetic foot conditions, focusing on early intervention, prevention, and long-term foot health.
He works closely with his patients to develop tailored treatment plans that improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and help prevent complications.
Known for his friendly and approachable manner, David is committed to ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Nasiba Baqi
Nasiba is a podiatrist who graduated from Monash University in 2025.
She completed clinical placements across both private and public healthcare settings.
She also holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours from Victoria University, completed in 2021.
Nasiba is passionate about her work as a podiatrist and is currently undertaking further study and training towards podiatry endorsement and is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.

Tauri Anana
Tauri graduated from La Trobe University in Bundoora after completing his Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice. He is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and also holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science degree from Deakin University.
Tauri is highly motivated and enjoys all facets of podiatry however has a special interest in biomechanics and musculoskeletal injuries. His previous studies in exercise and sport science complement and add to his experience in treating sport specific injuries. He has had a great interest in a variety of sports from early on which has continued up till today with his keen interest in Tennis and AFL.
Tauri is friendly, motivated and committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. In his spare time he loves spending time with family, playing tennis, snowboarding, travelling and watching the footy.

Tom Van Duong
Tom graduated in 2010, from the University of Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine. Tom has spent most of his podiatry career working in the private sector in Perth, and has spent two winter seasons in Japan working as a boot-fitter.
Tom is a friendly, motivated practitioner with a special interest in biomechanics and sports-related treatments. Through his experience, and strong passion for sports and exercise, including basketball, football, snowboarding and cycling (and a fair share of lower limb injuries!) Tom is able to offer a variety of treatment techniques, effective for people of all ages and abilities.
Tom has completed additional courses in Lower Limb dry needling, Extracorpeal Dolorclast Shockwave Therapy, SWIFT microwave therapy and regularly keeps updated with current treatment options.
In his spare time Tom loves spending time with friends and family, playing basketball, snowboarding and travelling.

Harry Katopodis
He has a particular interest in acute and complex foot and ankle conditions, including tendinopathies, Achilles injuries, plantar heel pain, forefoot pain, foot and ankle stress reactions and stress fractures, and running-related overload syndromes.
His approach focuses on complete performance restoration, supporting patients not only through injury rehabilitation but also in returning to sport at their highest possible level.
Drawing on a strong athletic background including high-level football (soccer), running, hiking, and padel, he has a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of training, competition, and rehabilitation.
Harry is committed to ongoing professional development in sports medicine, ensuring his clinical practice remains aligned with current scientific evidence and high-performance rehabilitation principles.
